In this video: Watch as Pastor Alfred teaches on how to make a decision that will fulfill God’s destiny!
Sermon Summary:
In the beginning of the service, Pastor asks the congregation if they are healthy, and the congregation replies, saying yes, we are physically healthy and whole. When someone in the world asks this, it is about physical health. But when a man of God asks this, he is asking about spiritual health.
Spiritually healthy person will be physically healthy as well.
When Jesus comes at the time of rapture, and he calls his children, if you do not hear Him, you will not go with Him. Jesus comes for our spiritual person who is living inside of our body, and therefore is it very important to be spiritually healthy.
During the recent storm, many trees that looked strong and deeply rooted, got split into two. This shows that they were empty inside. How many Christians can stand when the storm comes? Are you strong on the inside or is your inner man healthy?
When Samuel was looking to anoint a king for Israel, God was instructing him not to regard outward appearance of the sons of Jesse, but the man of heart for God. David was youngest & weakest physically, but strong spiritually.
Word of God is the food and health to our inner man. Our inner man is also strengthened through worship. From the old testament to the new testament, God changed worship from physical to spiritual. Instead of sacrificing animals, God asks for a sacrifice of praise and worship. If you are not in this church for worship, you won’t be able to stand it for long; Satan will deceive you. A machine cannot worship God for you, and just hearing the songs is not worship. You must worship with your words and with our own sound which is unique to you.
Fasting is a way to strengthen ourselves spiritually. When Jesus was fasting 40 day & nights, He looked physically weak. But, spiritually, Jesus was strong and was able to resist satan and temptation.
Therefore, strengthening our inner, spiritual man is important in order to grow in our relationship with God and in order to benefit from the spiritual blessings we are given through being God’s children.
