In this video: Watch as Pastor Alfred teaches on who the Holy Spirit is!
Sermon Summary:
Everything that we do, we do in Faith. Faith gives us spiritual eyes, ears, and words. Faith is a substance that flows through our heart (inner man). How do we know we have faith? The word of God says everyone is given a measure of faith. We all have faith for our own trials and challenges. What dominates faith? Fear of death dominates faith. Therefore, Jesus took the fear of death away when He resurrected. At the cross, the work is finished but at Resurrection the Victory was won. There are two kinds of Faith: natural (senses) and supernatural.
When we pray and worship, we must release the words out of our mouth. During this worship you must be sensitive to the answer that comes.
When we are born of the word, no sickness or disease can stay in us. As the word instructs, we must cast our cares on the Lord, expressing our trust in Him. When we don’t trust Him, we show our ignorance of the person of Holy Spirit who has come to reside in us. No one can see God, yet for a child of God it is possible to know Him as Jesus Himself confessed about God, our Father. The Holy Spirit takes the Word (scripture) in us and forms the image of Jesus in us. Therefore, in Proverbs 4:22 we learn that the Word becomes medicine to our flesh. The intake of Word causes the process of change in us. The more Word we take, more will be trusted to us.
The Holy Spirit in us, is the *vehicle* that operates on the Word (“ *fuel* ”). We need both: the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. So Holy Spirit (God’s power) is subject to you and you become His controller. You decide whether or not, the Holy Spirit should flow through you!
Our responsibility is to feed on the word for the Holy Spirit to function. Until He hears the Word in us, He will not do anything on His own. Because of the promise of Jesus, Holy Spirit is here on earth to dwell inside us to do the Will of God through us.
Therefore, we protect our hearts to honor the Holy Spirit, by keeping guard over our mouth, ears and eyes. So let us fill ourselves with Him, through praise and worship and continuously fellowship with Him, Honor Him, for His power to manifest through us.
