Pastor speaks of the evil works being planned in the years to come. However, we have protection from the Lord. When there was fear and restrictions surrounding us, we could congregate in the church every week. No masks, no social distancing, but nobody came to our door and disturbed us. We were untouched by evil because we have protection from the Lord. Our safety or our destruction is based on our mouth. Proverbs 18:20 says that the fill your spirit with food (Word) through your mouth.
When your mouth is used to bind Satan, you take away his power over you. It is up to us to resist Satan. This power to resist Satan is made available when we love God and have the love of Christ in us.
As you partake of the word of God, your inner man (inner person) is strengthened day by day. In order to hear from the Lord, you must submit yourself to the ministry. In the same way, your physical person must submit to your spiritual person. Your submission is through the word of God.
To understand the importance of the spiritual person, we can look at the example of someone seeking a solution to their problem. When someone comes for prayer, they tell the pastor their problem. If the pastor only listens to the problem with his physical ears, there is no difference between the pastor and any natural person. However, if the Pastor has spritual ears, he will listen through his spiritual person, and he will find the true root of the issue through his spirit man. Then, if the person chooses to accept the words of the Pastor, they are saved and their problem is solved.
Therefore, we as believers are instructed to seen in the spiritual realm which is eternal and invest in building up our inner man by feeding on the Word of God. As we become stronger in our spirit person, all physical (visible) problems will fade away.
