When your flesh stands between you and your service of the Lord you must deny your flesh step-by-step. When you fellowship or partake with unbelievers ( idol or demonic worshippers ), you are tormented depressed harassed by that demonic influence. They become outlets to inflict on you that demonic nature. Protect yourself and what you have received because you are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Your life must show that you have repented or made a decision to follow Christ. Do not live to crucify others and not yourself.
In Exodus, Moses waited upon the Lord for 6 days. What excuses would he give for not waiting? Lord always used Moses to talk to the Israelites; be mindful that Lord uses the man appointed to you to speak to you.
In Numbers, Miriam and Aaron did not consider Moses as God’s appointed but spoke against him. As a result of doubting God’s chosen, Miriam was struck by leprosy.
In Matthew, we read Jesus’ struggle with the flesh before His betrayal. He wanted the disciples to intercede for Him but they fell asleep. So Jesus prayed to the Father concerning the cross that He will bear, and sweated blood by the thoughts of His coming trial and agony. That is how Jesus earned “The Name above all names”; even the 12 names of God.
Be encouraged, no matter what trouble you go through, Jesus has dealt it for you on the Cross!
