Sermon Summary:
The innerman refers to the born again spirit person, born of God in Christ Jesus. The innerman who lives in us is not bitter but is sweeter. All things have been given to us freely.
We choose to walk the way of the Word and not of the world. In the world we will have tribulations but in Jesus we live as overcomer. This overcoming life is given to us through abundance of Grace. We take advantage of this Grace!
Mathew 10:18 says freely we have received freely we must give. Joy, peace, strength, and healing are all inside of us; therefore, we got to know what part to play. We contribute to the troubles in our lives. We do so with our wicked thoughts, twisted tongues, and wicked fellowship. The question we should ask ourselves: Who do we fellowship with? When we are not informed in the word of God, Satan takes advantage of us.
As soon as we became a Christian, there was tremendous power given in our mouth; therefore, we need to be trained or corrected by a sound doctrine. The teacher should be sound in the Word of God, full of wisdom and display gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We are instructed to put on Christ. How? By wearing the garment of the Word. Use your mouth to wear the garment of peace, health, joy….This confession helps you to quench the fiery darts of the enemy.
Our outward person is the physical body but the hidden person or inner man is image of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwelling inside us. This inner person when connects to the Holy Spirit (the reservoir), there will be abundance of finances, health and blessings.
