Satan is the old serpent that uses the personality of a person to react to situations. You can either murmur or complain in a situation like a carnal mind or speak abundance like a spirit filled person.
The old person (sinful nature) tries to protect/hide some issues in his heart which allows lack, arguments, hardships, etc. to hinder the spiritual growth. Unless these are opened to God, by asking for forgiveness and repentance, one cannot be fully delivered. The counsel from a true man of God brings the correction and reproof to our old nature. The instructions from God’s Word can be heard and applied immediately for a breakthrough or could be ignored until a later time.
Word is sound. We are instruments, because when we speak, we always make a sound. Did you know that you do the word? Everything in the world is created and maintained by sound. Therefore, to reform or repair any situation, you need to sound the right word! The authority and power of earthly leaders or authorities are limited to specific physical areas or regions. But the authority & power of God’s Word has no boundaries or limits. It has Supernatural power.
These 5 agents rule the old person: Sin, Death, Grave, Hell & Satan. Whereas a born-again person is empowered by the Word. Therefore, we need to submit to God’s Word by crucifying our flesh (old person), taking upon the mind of Christ, and doing the Word. This requires the daily offering of your *Self* , as a living sacrifice unto the Lord!
