The education and its mindset received from the world system is contrary to the education in the Word of God. Training in the world is enmity to God’s knowledge. Therefore, there is a constant fight between the mind of flesh and the mind of renewed spirit. Adam’s fall or obedience to sin gave Satan the ability to corrupt (blind) human mind, resulting in creation of wicked and evil things.
When Jesus defeated Satan after His resurrection from death, He empowered believers (with renewed minds) to use His Authority and Power to speak His Word to create things. Ignorant minds give in for defeat and failure by speaking it from their mouths. Whereas, the born again mind operates by believing in the heart and confession through mouth to create things!
Jesus always prayed long hours before ministering healing and deliverance to the oppressed. As the logos (Word of God) is released through prayer, thorns & thistles (impurities) are cleared, and you begin to function in the realm of unsearchable riches. By praying in the spirit (in tongues) we pray the mind of God which gives us fruitful results.
God has represented His creation (beings) in the human body. From the beginning of creation, Satan had desired to have the glory of man. When you make your choice to follow Truth, you choose the right words to speak and function in God’s plan. But an undisciplined mind will be lured to speak contrary words and function in the devil’s plan.
Therefore, Satan fights our praying in tongues. He tempts the Glory of God upon you similar to the testing of Jesus after His baptism with the Holy Spirit. Prayerfulness is key to escape the snares of the devil!!
